Online Creative Writing Coaching and Mentoring with Laura Wake

If you are a writer who would like support and feedback as you write your novel, if you are stuck in the middle of a draft, want to sharpen up your Creative Writing skills, or would benefit from a structured writing schedule with regular deadlines, I can mentor you to reach your goals.
Each online session is £45. Before this we would have an initial (free) 20 minute consultation where we will discuss your work and specific needs, and come up with a schedule to work to.
I can offer you regular online coaching as you write your novel, or one-off sessions to focus on a particular area of Creative Writing you would like to develop (e.g. plotting, using different points of views, redrafting, dialogue writing etc.)
As an author, I love to support writers as they write from initial idea through to polished manuscript, and help them make their prose as sharp as it possibly can be.
About the mentor:
Laura Wake teaches regular Writing a Novel courses for adults. She has previously taught Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University, and for the Workers’ Educational Association. Laura’s first novel, A Monster by Violet, was published in 2017 and was longlisted for The Polari Prize and The Guardian’s ‘Not the Booker Prize’. She has a Masters Degree with Distinction in Writing, and a 1st Class BA Honours Degree in English. Laura is currently writing her second novel.
