What is this Arts Council England Funding For?
We are taking our popular Regional Networking Events online
We want to support members across the UK to connect, share practice and and build networks as an antidote to the isolation and loneliness of lockdown.
We're developing a Virtual Action Learning programme
Action Learning is like having a whole team of one-to-one coaches helping you navigate the big decisions and find solutions. You'll also learn the techniques, which means that you can establish your own Action Learning Sets once the programme is complete.
We're creating a bumper edition of Writing in Education for the autumn
This will coincide with the original conference dates and we're excited to receive your creative and pedagogical contributions.
We'll also be partnering with other organisations in receipt of ACE Emergency Funding to co-deliver programmes that will benefit NAWE's members and the whole writing community.
Fiona Mason, Acting Director of NAWE, said, 'I'm thrilled and grateful that we've been able to secure Arts Council England funding and I'm now turning my attention to developing each of these exciting projects, which I hope will make a real difference to our community at this time.'
Details of these programmes will be revealed in the coming days and weeks, so keep checking the website, social media and the members' bulletin for further information.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to National Lottery players for making it possible for Arts Council England to support NAWE and others at this critical time for the arts and creative industries.
